RETAIL WORKERS

RETAIL WORKERS DESERVE BETTER!

Larry has been actively vocal about the workplace environments of big box chain retailers like The Home Depot, Target and Best Buy.

Larry believes that in America, any job that employs any human being is a CAREER. Larry has championed the conduct of whistleblowers and vocal employees. He wants retailers like The Home Depot, Target and Best Buy to reform the process and avenues for intaking and resolving employee concerns and complaints.

No worker in America should ever be forced to quit their job simply because they no longer want to deal with bullying, harassment, gross misconducts or unfair labor practices. No worker in America should ever be terminated (in an at-will environment) for wanting to be included in the decisions impacting their workplace and employment.

These retailers will be held accountable and will have to make the “appropriate changes” by law.

With Larry, retail employers will not have the economic upper-hand AND the ability to making decisions that impact their employees without involving those employees.

Larry believes in the protections of protected activities in the workplace — while he is not absolute on Retail Unions — he is certain that their must be more modern and realistic policies. He wants absolute clarification on ‘social media conduct’ and believes that employees shall have the right to speak out on social media while off the clock. Employees should have the right to lobby their management for fair treatment and respect.

Therefore with Larry’s leadership and our support, Retail Workers will realize better livings and savings wages, real Sick Leave and PTO, reformed attendance policies, and state regulations on management conduct and practices to reduce and eliminate reprisal (retaliation) against vocal employees.

In a rough draft of a ‘to be proposed’ law:

If retailers attempt to layoff or shutdown any store where changes have been required that retailer will either pay a full year of salary to each impacted employee at full-time rates (regardless of status), plus incur fines and/or be legally obligated to keep the store operating for up to five years; and must provide impacted employees with reasonable job offers — since under ‘to be proposed’ law this would be considered retaliation.

If you want to call the shots, you’re gonna play by the rules too, union or no union.

Larry’s to be proposed law, can be referred to as “The Retail Workers’ Protections Act” and would be proposed; and enacted as a federal law to help prevent retailers from shutting down stores and laying off employees.

He also wants to protect retail workers from the threat of automation. Larry will not allow retail workers to be replaced by robots. Larry has stood up and will continue to stand up to corporate America – FOR ALL OF US.

CUT BIG EXECUTIVE BONUSES BY LAW

No Executive in the Retail Industry should ever pocket a bonus when their employees suffer lack.

Retail Workers care about their jobs and carry these companies on their backs day by day – struggling to get to work and negate their way through “LIFE”. It’s time that we regulate those funds for reinvestment into hourly employees.

Retail is the profession of Customer Service.

Our CHAMPION has begun the work and will not stop until retailers treat their employees as their most valued assets – for real. Getting over on us, will stop, FOR ALL OF US.
